O'Begley Single Malt Whisky is bottled at its full cask strength of approximately 136 proof. Created from the hard work of local artisans, local farmers are the exclusive growers of our NYS 6-row barley. Traditional floor malting of the grain is done by Pioneer Malting in Rochester NY, where it is exposed to a very cool and long germination phase. The malt is then deliberately kiln dried at very low temperatures to preserve the delicate enzyme package. Distillation of the spirit is done to the highest standards to display all of the natural and unique terroir of Western New York
